Don’t make me come home!
Mendoza is amazing, pure and simple.
Gorgeous scenery, obviously incredible wine, friendly people, perfect summer weather. 95 degrees with blue as blue can be skies and the blazing sun, yet feeling like 75ish degrees? I can get used to 0% humidity.
Yesterday we did Class III white water rafting, and not surprisingly met really interesting people. Then I had one of the best spa treatments of my life, followed by staying at an incredible lodge.
Tomorrow we have a 9 hour wine tour. Yes please.
Tonight, we had one of the best dinners ever (pictured). Factors: Delicious food. There is no wine list, but rather you pick your own from the cellar. And the fact that they were playing Thom Yorke’s album so faintly that just those with a trained ear could hear it only added points that weren’t necessary to make the picture complete.
Honestly, do I have to come home in two days?!
